Job Title: Instructor Pool - Manufacturing Plant Electrician Apprenticeship
Applicant Notification: Department Information — Our Business, Technology, and Trades Division at Lane Community College is seeking to expand its pool of part-time faculty to teach apprenticeship courses.
- Beyond the required education and experience, instructors must have a passion for what they teach and have teaching styles that support student success. Instructors are responsible for following Division and College procedures in support of teaching and learning.
- This is an applicant pool posting for 2026. The assigned location for this position is at the Lane Community College's main campus located in Eugene, Oregon.

Required Qualifications- Required Education: Associate of Applied Science OR Oregon Journeyman Card
- Required Experience: Two (2) years of experience in the related trade.
- Conditions of Employment:
- Successful applicants are required to complete a criminal background check. Infractions are evaluated case-by-case.
- Must work and reside in the state of Oregon at the time their work is performed.
- Associate's Degree within the Construction Industry.
- Demonstrable, real-world experience in the manufacturing plant electrical industrial trade.
- Construction or industrial foreman/supervision in an industrial setting.
- Teaching or construction/industrial-related experience.
- Experience with apprenticeship training programs and standards.
