The Business, Technology, and Trades Division of Lane Community College invites applications for one or more part-time, as-needed, Instructional Specialists for the Diesel Technology Program.

* This position works on an as-needed basis and is a temporary assignment based on student, college, and division needs. Variable work hours based on department needs.

* Schedule may vary with hours increasing during peak periods up to 40 hours per week, up to 1039 hours in a 12-month period.

* Classes run Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 1:00 pm

Required QUALIFICATIONS

Required

Education:

Two (2) years of post-secondary education or formal training with coursework in Diesel Technology or related field.

Required Experience:

Two (2) years of experience in Diesel Technology or related field.

Preferred QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Education

An Associate of Applied Science degree in Diesel technology and/or an ASE Certification.

Preferred Experience

Recent experience in a professional Diesel Technology field that would include at least on of the following areas; heavy truck, heavy equipment, lift truck, and/or agricultural equipment repair.
