Our Culinary and Baking Department is seeking a part-time faculty member to teach Culinary courses.
* Beyond the required education and experience, instructors must have a passion for what they teach and have teaching styles that support student success. Instructors are responsible for following Division and College procedures in support of teaching and learning.

Required QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Education:
Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts or Equivalent
Required Experience:
* Five (5) years of experience in the Culinary Field as Head Chef or Executive Chef.
And
* At least one (1) year in teaching, training, or instruction.
Licensure or Certification Requirements Conditions of Employment:

* Must work and reside in the state of Oregon at the time their work is being performed.
Preferred QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Education
* US or Foreign country equivalent of a Culinary Arts degree.
* Possess an American Culinary Federation (ACF) Certification of Certified Working Chef/Pastry Chef.
* Serve Safe Managers Certification or equivalent.
Preferred Experience
* Recent college or high school teaching experience.
* Experience in college or secondary teaching in the field of Culinary Arts or Baking and Pastry.
* Experience building and designing curriculum both online and in person.
* Extensive experience working with a diverse group of high-barrier populations.
* Versed in large scratch baked goods production.
* Versed in large scratch recipes and cooked to order line production.
* Experience with working in kitchens featuring contemporary American restaurant cuisine.
