Department Information

Our Business, Technology, and Trades Division at Lane Community College is seeking to expand its pool of part-time faculty to teach Computer Numeric Control (CNC) courses.

* Beyond the required education and experience, instructors must have a passion for what they teach and have teaching styles that support student success. Instructors are responsible for following Division and College procedures in support of teaching and learning.

* This is an application pool posting for 2026. The assigned location for this position is at Lane Community College's main campus located in Eugene, Oregon.

* The Part-time Faculty benefits package includes a generous contribution toward medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability and paid sick leave. Part-time faculty may be eligible for full contracted benefits after meeting certain criteria.

Required QUALIFICATIONS

Required

Education:

* Associate of Applied Science in Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Technology or related field

OR

* Equivalent education and professional field experience appropriate to the position.

Required Experience:

Two (2) years of experience in Computer Numeric Control (CNC) or a related field.

Licensure or Certification Requirements Conditions of Employment:

Preferred QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Education

Bachelors in Computer Numeric Control (CNC) Technology or equivalent.

Preferred Experience

* Experience in CAM.

* Teaching experience or industrial training experience.
