Our Science Department is seeking to hire a Part-Time hourly Physics Lab Instructional Specialist.

Salary/Wage Range: $18.96-$27.80 Hourly (Classified Hourly Pay Grade
8)

  • Our application is used to determine your initial salary placement for selected candidates. All employment and education history will be considered.
  • Part-Time position; variable work hours based on Physics needs.
  • Typically up to ten (10) hours per week average.
  • Schedules may vary with hours increasing during peak periods up to 40 hours per week, up to 1039 hours in a 12 month period.
  • Hours are flexible to be arranged by the supervisor.

Two (2) years of post-secondary education with course work in General Physics sequence with a lab component and an upper-division physics sequence at a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

Required Experience:

The equivalent of two (2) years of experience directly related to equipment and apparatus found in physics labs and demonstrations.

Licensure or Certification Requirements Conditions of Employment:
