Job Description

Successful candidates will receive Bethel School District’s $4,000 Special Education Hiring Incentive!

Educators must be fully and appropriately licensed by the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) to be eligible for this incentive. Restricted license holders will not be eligible.

  • $1,000 bonus after 30 days of work
  • $750 in December paycheck
  • $750 in March paycheck
  • $1,500 in June at the conclusion of the school year

Bethel School District is seeking appropriately licensed candidates for a 0.5 FTE Middle School Social Communication Classroom (SCC) Special Education Teacher for the 2026-27 school year.

Candidates who are licensed or will have the ability to be licensed by the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission by the start of the 2026-27 school year are encouraged to apply. Bilingual and/or bicultural candidates are strongly encouraged to apply and will receive preferential consideration.

Salary Range: $50,285 to $101,477 (depending on experience and education)
