Our Regional Crisis Center is Hiring Instructional Assistants!
The Instructional Assistant (IA) works in a team teaching environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in classroom activities.
- Classroom duties such as grading student work, sending record requests, attendance.
- Assisting with special education records and writing classroom logs.
- Redirecting negative student behaviors.
- Addressing individual education needs of students.
Folks with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree are encouraged to apply. Experience working with adolescents with behavioral needs is preferred but not required.
Successful IAs have confidence in Language Arts and Mathematical skills and are pursuing or hold a Bachelor's degree in education, social services, business, or a related field. As a youth mentor and role model, you will motivate students regarding their educational goals. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Instructional Assistant is preferred.
- Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Pay: $22 per hour.
- Full-time, 40-hour week.
