- Limited Duration 26-27 School Year

Salary: Classified Range E, $21.34 - $30.41

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the student intake process and orient new students to Hope factory facility.
- Advise students on academic program requirements and post secondary education and career options.
- Serve as a key contact with districts for student transportation or attendance.
- Generate routine attendance reports to support billing districts for student placements.
- Initiate maintenance requests for classroom equipment in need of repair.
- Order classroom equipment or supplies.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials as assigned.
- Basic Skills
- Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Active Learning: Understanding new information's implications for current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
- Reading Comprehension: Understanding written information including technical drawings and procedures, trade publications and government regulations.
- Speaking: Ability to communicate fluently in English, including presenting information and responding to inquiries. Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred.
- Writing Communicating: Ability to write reports or summary information, respond to common inquiries from students, parents, patrons or partners.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidential student and family information in compliance with state, federal and district requirements.
- Social Skills
- Coordination: Adjusting actions concerning others' actions through independent judgment or with the assistance of the teacher.
- Service Orientation: Actively looking for ways to help people through independent judgment or with the assistance of the teacher.
