Qualifications:

• Current Oregon certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience with K-12 caseloads, in either self-contained or resource classroom environments
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to perform the full scope of Special Education teacher responsibilities throughout the academic day
• Strong work ethic, openness to professional growth, and a consistently positive attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to students' unique learning needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and monitor IEPs, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service professionals, and families to support student success
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages student engagement, independence, and achievement
• Provide direct instructional support and manage classroom behavior using positive, strength-based approaches
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing program improvement
