Instructor Pool - Plumbing Apprenticeship

Our Business, Technology, and Trades Division at Lane Community College is seeking to expand its pool of part-time faculty to teach apprenticeship courses. Beyond the required education and experience, instructors must have a passion for what they teach and have teaching styles that support student success. Instructors are responsible for following Division and College procedures in support of teaching and learning.

This is an applicant pool posting for 2025-26. The assigned location for this position is at the Lane Community College's main campus located in Eugene, Oregon.

The Apprenticeship Program Part-time Faculty position will be responsible for apprenticeship-related training courses. The primary responsibility of the apprenticeship instructor is to provide quality teaching in a full range of community college apprenticeship courses. Courses may include in-person and/or remote online instruction while presenting innovative lecture and lab components. The accompanying instruction, depending on the class, may be delivered in several formats which include both traditional lectures and online presentations.
