The School of Accounting seeks talented faculty to teach accounting at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Pro‑temp faculty will work under the supervision of the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty and Research and/or the department head, with schedules primarily on campus in classroom settings.
Qualifications- Instructor: Master’s degree. In exceptional circumstances, a BA/BS degree with substantial professional experience may substitute.
- Lecturer (graduate‑level courses): Terminal degree in relevant field.
- Professor of Practice:
- Substantial experience equivalent to a tenured professor (normally a minimum of 12 years).
- National/international reputation for excellence reflected in a record of significant accomplishments.
- Rich and extensive professional background in the field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that will enhance community relations and support undergraduate/graduate student training.
- Demonstrated ability or potential for quality teaching.
- PhD or other doctorate with demonstrated teaching experience.
