Salary Range: $50,285 to $101,477 (depending on experience and education)

Contract Days: 192

Bethel School District is seeking appropriately licensed candidates for a temporary 1.0 FTE K‑5 teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year at Meadow View School. Candidates licensed or able to obtain license by the start of the 2026‑2027 school year are encouraged to apply. • Knowledge of educational programs offered in all schools and basic educational techniques.

• Ability to prepare materials for lesson plans and adapt them to meet student needs.

• Possess an Oregon Teaching License valid for assignment by the start of the school year.
• Ability to implement culturally proficient skills and strategies.
• Successfully pass fingerprinting, criminal, Oregon Department of Education, and TSPC background checks.

• Robust mentorship from a veteran teacher for staff new to teaching or 1–2 years out of an education program.
• K‑5 instructional coaching with a Literacy Coach.
• Week‑long New Teacher Academy prior to in‑service week.
• Ongoing coaching and support.
• Opportunities to visit and observe colleagues.
• Professional Development in reading science, implicit bias, equity, trauma‑informed practices, and collaborative learning communities.
