Interim Director of Academic and Tutoring Services
Lane Community College, a comprehensive community college in beautiful Eugene, Oregon, has begun the search for the Interim Director of Academic and Tutoring Services. The Director of Academic and Tutoring Services (ATS) is responsible for the visioning, oversight, and management of ATS programs including Academic Coaching, Course Embedded Tutors, Instructional Testing, and other academic support efforts at the college. This position oversees a staff of approximately 55 – 90 contracted, part-time, and student employees in an operation that spans 10 learning spaces and the Instructional Testing Services center.
Working within Academic Affairs, the Director of Academic and Tutoring Services and Instructional Testing will set the stage for equitable, high-quality, effective learning experiences that support student success at Lane.
Required
Education:
Master degree in a content area taught by the college, from an accredited institution.
Required Experience:
Experience providing tutoring, academic support, and/or instructional testing services at the college level. At least three (3) years of experience as a coordinator (or comparable level) within an educational setting. Experience working with underserved student populations.
