This contract opportunity is located near Eugene, OR, with multiple full-time positions available, each offering the potential to shape inclusive educational experiences. Your placement and specific caseload details will be communicated soon, and youll be working alongside dedicated DHH specialists and additional classroom support personnel.
The assignment is projected to begin on 8/24/26 and extend through 7/15/27, with flexibility for in-person, hybrid, or virtual work settings based on the needs of the schools. This dynamic work environment ensures you can apply your unique talents in the setting that fits you best.
Desired Qualifications &Experience:
- Current credentials as a Sign Language Interpreter
- Demonstrated experience supporting students in school settings strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate within a team, especially alongside DHH specialists and classroom staff
- Effective communication skills in both ASL and English
- Genuine commitment to fostering inclusivity and accessibility
- Provide high-quality sign language interpretation for students, educators, and staff
- Facilitate comprehension and accessibility during classroom instruction and school activities
- Collaborate with other members of the special education team to ensure comprehensive support for DHH students
- Adapt to various assignments or caseloads as school placements are finalized
