Overview

Successful candidates will receive Bethel School District’s $4,000 Special Education Hiring Incentive! Educators must be fully and appropriately licensed by the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) to be eligible for this incentive. Restricted license holders will not be eligible. The hiring incentive applies to individuals newly employed by the district. This incentive will be prorated based on the employee’s hire date.

  • $1,000 bonus after 30 days of work
  • $750 in December paycheck
  • $750 in March paycheck
  • $1,500 in June at the conclusion of the school year
Position

Bethel School District is seeking appropriately licensed candidates for a 1.0 FTE Middle School Resource Room Teacher for the  school year. Location to be determined. Candidates who are licensed or will have the ability to be licensed by the Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission by the start of the  school year are encouraged to apply. We are actively recruiting the best candidates for teaching positions, especially those from non-traditional backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary Range: $50,285 to $101,477 (depending on experience and education)
  • Contract Days: 192
