PositionSummary
The Knight Campus is seeking qualified applicants for its open
ProTem Instructor/Lecturer pool. Knight Campus Instructors/Lecturers develop innovative and multidisciplinaryeducational materials with the goal of preparing graduate students for entry-level positions in academic, industry, and governmentlabs. If you enjoy teaching students topics that encompass both thelife sciences and materials sciences, we encourage you to apply!
Successful Instructors/Lecturers will mentor students on research projects that span a breadth of topics and need to stay current on innovative discoveries and methods.
Positions are limited-duration appointments potentially renewable for up to a total of three years. In limited circumstances, thereis the possibility of renewal beyond three years based onprogrammatic need, funding, and performance.
Minimum RequirementsInstructor:
- Master's degree from an accredited higher education institution in a relevant science field.
- Three years of experience in research/innovation capacity.
- Experience teaching and developing curriculum.
Lecturer:
- Terminal degree from an accredited higher education institution in a relevant science field.
- Three years of experience in research/innovation capacity.
- Experience teaching and developing curriculum.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- PhD in bioengineering, biochemistry, biology, biophysics,physics, chemistry, chemical engineering or related disciplines
