(HHPR) is a firm of engineers, planners, landscape architects, and surveyors who provide comprehensive, integrated services for transportation facilities; site development; utility infrastructure; water resources; stormwater facilities; parks; residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial site development. WhatWe Are Seeking
We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Eugene, Oregon office - a small, collaborative team with strong potential for continued growth. This role is well suited for an engineer who is rooted in the Eugene area or considering a transition within the local market and who values meaningful project involvement, autonomy, and visibility in their work. While the Eugene office maintains a close-knit, small-office environment, it is supported by the resources, technical depth, and project diversity of a larger Oregon-based firm.
Engineers with familiarity or established relationships in the Eugene/Springfield area will find this role especially rewarding, though candidates eager to build strong local connections are equally encouraged to apply.
- Design and support the work of site development and public infrastructure projects, technical calculations, estimates and reports.
- Work includes, but is not limited to, the design of roads, site development, grading, drainage, sewer, water, storm water, erosion control and franchise utilities.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer in Oregon; licenses in other states a plus.
- 5-10 years in related work experience.
- Solid understanding of civil design and construction standards.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Proficient ability to communicate both verbally and written.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail.
- Relationship with local agencies a plus.
