Join us in leading the future of multimodal corridor design!
We are looking for a dynamic National Multimodal Corridor Design Leader to drive high-impact corridor programs nationwide. In this key role, you will establish national design standards, mentor emerging leaders, and oversee the successful execution of complex Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Complete Streets projects from concept to final design.
This position is vital for advancing our urban mobility capabilities, enhancing design consistency, and managing a growing portfolio of corridor design initiatives.
What You Will Do:- Lead Complex Corridor Designs: Drive the technical delivery of comprehensive BRT and multimodal design projects, ensuring an integrated approach with civil, traffic, ITS, and urban design disciplines.
- Set Standards for Technical Excellence: Develop and maintain standardized design methodologies and coordinate transit signal priority with related engineering teams.
- Deliver Quality Designs: Ensure high-quality plans, specifications, and estimates through to final design (PS&E) while making defensible design decisions.
- Utilize Advanced Tools: Employ Civil 3D modeling and other digital tools to create optimized design models, enhancing communication of design impacts.
- Shape Strategy & Market Position: Represent technical strategies in proposal interviews and contribute to project scope development and draft technical narratives for transit pursuits.
- Mentor Future Leaders: Support and elevate junior staff, fostering collaboration and building national capacity in BRT and corridor design.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related field.
- Professional engineering (PE) license.
- 10 years of relevant experience; equivalent additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 10+ years of experience in BRT and multimodal corridor design.
- Experience through final design delivery for at least one corridor project.
- Strong capabilities in managing multi-discipline design teams and developing project documentation.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D corridor modeling workflows and strong communication skills.

Pay RangeMinimum $105,227 - Maximum $184,142
Bonus StructureAll bonuses are discretionary.
