Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Eugene, Oregon. In this role, you will handle a variety of financial tasks, primarily focused on retail transactions, returns, and exchanges, while supporting wholesale operations. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including cash applications and collections.

- Handle billing functions with accuracy and ensure timely invoicing.

- Address and resolve customer inquiries related to returns, exchanges, and account discrepancies.

- Maintain financial records in Quick Books Online and ensure proper documentation.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline AR processes across retail and wholesale operations.

- Support inventory tracking and reconciliation efforts as needed.

- Generate financial reports to assist in decision-making and performance monitoring.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth AR operations.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, cash applications, and collections.

- Strong proficiency in Quick Books Online for financial recordkeeping.

- Familiarity with Shopify for retail transaction management.

- Ability to handle high-volume, low-dollar transactions efficiently.

- Excellent problem-solving skills to manage returns and exchanges.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.

- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.

- Experience in wholesale AR processes is a plus.
