Payroll Specialist

Position Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with strong knowledge of tax regulations and hands-on experience with automated payroll systems. In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee pay, benefits, and tax reporting, as well as maintain compliance with all applicable payroll laws.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process payroll for all employees promptly and accurately

+ Calculate and deduct payroll taxes and benefit contributions

+ Enter and manage data using automated payroll software (such as ADP)

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements

+ Reconcile payroll and benefit records to verify accuracy

+ Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, and respond to employee inquiries

+ Generate and maintain payroll reports and statements

+ Coordinate annual payroll audits

+ Stay informed on current payroll tax laws and regulations

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Payroll Specialist or related role

+ Deep understanding of payroll tax processes and reporting

+ Skilled in using automated payroll platforms like ADP

+ Current knowledge of payroll procedures and legal requirements

+ Strong analytical, math, and accounting abilities

+ Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

+ Clear and effective communicator

+ Committed to maintaining confidentiality and high ethical standards
