Senior Program Coordinator – Eugene Police Department

Salary: $35.74 – $44.54 hourly / $74,339.20 – $92,643.20 annually.

Work Location:
Eugene Police Department Headquarters, 300 Country Club Rd, Eugene, OR 97401.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with flexibility as needed.
- Payroll Coordination – review timesheets, handle personnel actions, maintain payroll records, comply with City and union procedures, and manage payroll system entries.
- Contract & Grant Administration – administer revenue, expense, and grant contracts; manage signature routing, insurance compliance, and reporting.
- Financial Operations – enter data into financial systems, process accounts payable and receivable, submit purchase orders, reconcile accounts, and assist with budget preparation.
- Purchasing Program Administration – coordinate purchases per public procurement rules, track trends, forecast funding needs, and recommend program improvements.
- Data Management & Reporting – develop and maintain payroll and financial tracking systems, provide regular and ad‑hoc reports, and update manuals and procedures.
- Other Duties – perform additional responsibilities as assigned, including grant administration, petty cash, asset tracking, and procurement card management.
- Four years of progressively responsible paraprofessional experience in finance, payroll, or a related field, including at least two years at the paraprofessional journey level.
- Associate's degree or equivalent with coursework in finance, accounting, public administration, business administration, or related field.
- Background investigation clearance.
- Ability to provide exemplary customer service to staff and the community, work collaboratively in a team environment, and adapt to changing business needs.
