About the Role

The Person al Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional client experience by adhering to our Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. They will acquire new and expand existing relationships with clients by asking questions to identify needs, offering appropriate products and services, and referring the client to the appropriate business partners within the Bank when needed. They are also responsible for uncovering and originating consumer lending opportunities, providing immediate acknowledgement, and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.

They engage clients and prospects in client financial reviews and business financial reviews to provide solutions and uncover additional financial needs, make recommendations, and follow through on commitments to clients. They maintain direct contact with external and internal clients and consistently provide proactive solutions and problem resolutions in alignment with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards. They open consumer and business accounts for existing and new clients, act as a resource to the Client Service Specialists by contributing to the team environment, and fill in on teller functions when needed.

They support the branch goal of identifying and referring a wide range of bank products and services to the appropriate internal business partners and resolve client issues and requests with strong follow‑through.

About You
  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • 1 year of Teller or other banking experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products and services offered.
  • Ability and desire to actively develop consumer lending skills.
  • Ability to accurately handle cash, balance accounts and drawers, and perform accurate calculations.
  • Proficient in expanding the client relationship with emphasis on creating new relationships and expanding existing relationships utilizing a personal and business bio and rapport with customers.
  • Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) preferred.

The pay range for this role is $19.00 - $23.00. The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non‑discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.

Ability to work fully onsite at posted location(s). 2400 West 11th Avenue, Eugene, OR 97402.
