Pay Rate: $50.00 - $54.00/Hourly.

Summary: The Surgical Technologist assists surgeons and the perioperative team in providing safe, effective care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role is responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, preparing operating rooms, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team before, during, and after surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control and safety standards
• Scrub and assist during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies
• Anticipate surgeon needs and respond promptly during procedures
• Perform accurate surgical counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments

Requirements:

• 2 - Year experience Required,
• One (1) year scrubbing CVOR/Open Heart procedures experience or two (2) years acute care scrubbing experience required,
• BLS Certification,
• Experience or training in computer applications preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
