As the Bilingual Skill Builder and/or Peer Support Specialist, you will provide quality, and culturally informed, antiracist, gender affirming, equity focused, effective, quality peer support and/or skill-building to clients receiving services at the Looking Glass Counseling Program for mental health and/or substance use treatment. You will work closely with therapists to implement treatment plans as you support and promote clients to reach their treatment goals through a variety of methods.
You will coordinate activities with other agencies, as appropriate, and identify community resources for clients and their families. Must drive own vehicle throughout Lane County to meet clients in their homes, at schools, or in the community.

The Counseling Program offers outpatient mental health services for anyone in our community who is experiencing difficulties in their life. Staff help families or individuals address a wide range of mental, emotional, behavioral, and situational issues. We take an individualized, strength-based, solution-focused approach to help clients and families meet their unique treatment goals.
In order to be successful in this role, you must be able to maintain a professional demeanor and uphold confidentiality. Qualified candidates have a bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field with 1 year of relevant work experience, or, a combination of 3 years of relevant work and education experience. You must be certifiable as a Qualified Mental Health Associate.
