Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Contract/Travel - Labor & Delivery *Up to $2,800/WK!*

This contract/travel registered nurse works in Labor & Delivery for 13 weeks in Eugene, Oregon, providing comprehensive obstetric and neonatal care. The role supports the team by delivering high-quality nursing services and ensuring patient safety during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal patients within the Labor & Delivery unit.

  • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for obstetric patients.

  • Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs using EFM systems, ensuring patient safety and timely intervention if needed.

  • Assist during labor and delivery procedures, including c‑sections, utilizing scrubs and following sterile techniques.

  • Educate and support patients and their families regarding labor, postpartum care, and neonatal health, ensuring emotional and informational support throughout the birthing process.

  • Qualifications:
    • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon or ability to obtain licensure.

    • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications, current and active.

    • Minimum of 2 years of recent labor & delivery nursing experience.

    • Ability to work night shifts.

    • Flexibility to float within the unit.

    • Strong clinical skills in obstetrics.

    • Excellent communication skills.

    • Strong teamwork skills.

    Preferred

    Skills:
    • Previous travel nurse experience.
