We are looking for a Residential Care Associate II to join our team at the River Bridge SRTF program in Eugene, Oregon. The Residential Care Associate II will support residents according to their individualized treatment plans with a focus on personal care services, environmental intervention, and limited group social and recreational treatment activities as assigned by an approved evidence‑based group curriculum.
Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, documenting care in medical charts and count sheets, assisting clients with medication self‑administration, transporting clients to and from the program, and maintaining compliance with established productivity standards for documentation of services.
With our MHACBO-accredited training program, you will earn CEUs toward applicable mental health certifications while receiving required paid training and qualified clinical supervision for on‑the‑job experience.
Work ScheduleFriday through Monday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (Part Time, Swing)
CompensationStarting at $22.50 – $23.88 per hour DOE/Credentials. An additional 5% language differential is offered for bilingual or multilingual candidates.
What You’ll NeedMust be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate registration through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO). Eligibility requires one of the following: • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science:
Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field; • Minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting; • Equivalent combination of behavioral science education and satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training. Candidates will be required to register as a QMHA‑R through MHACBO during the first week of employment.
Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must present a valid driver’s license from their state of residence (or obtain one within 30 days of hire), maintain a safe driving record, and pass a DHS criminal background check.
Physical DemandsThe position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. Occasionally, use of ladders, squat/kneel, and other physical tasks may be required. You must also complete crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings that involve hands‑on maneuvers and techniques, including patient transfers.
