Travel Physical Therapy Assistant; PTA

Role

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans that improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence.

• Assist with therapeutic exercises, modalities, and daily activities;
• Monitor and document patient progress;
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs;
• Collaborate with healthcare team;
• Ensure safety and infection control;
• Participate in quality assurance and discharge planning;
• Perform equipment setup and assist with transfers and mobility exercises.

• Valid PTA license and current BLS certification;
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient movements;
• Ability to follow instructions, work under supervision, and maintain professionalism;
• Sensory acuity and technical skills for performing procedures.
