About Us

Broadway Apothecary is a specialty pharmacy in search of an enthusiastic Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. We are dedicated to stellar, long-term patient care and provider partnerships with an emphasis on successful treatment outcomes, medication adherence, and dynamic medication regimens. Our specialties focus on the following areas of treatment: upper and lower respiratory care, wound and skin conditions, and topical pain management.

Responsibilities
  • Providing high quality customer service to patients and providers and protecting patient confidentiality.
  • Perform processing of prescriptions to support fast-paced turnaround times.
  • Answering telephones, correctly identifying and routing patient calls.
  • Placing reminder calls to patients.
  • Filing, packaging and meeting important shipping deadlines.
  • Performing efficient computer data entry of prescription information.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Supporting medication compounding activities.
  • Preparing reports by collecting and summarizing information.
  • Contributing to team effort and willingness to be flexible to support dynamic needs of our patient population.
Required Background
  • High School Diploma or GED Certification
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ease in using technology for communication, record keeping and management of data
  • Experience in a fast-paced working environment
  • Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician license
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to meet physical demands of job, which can include light lifting, and standing for long periods of time.
  • Candidates must undergo a background check and drug screen.
  • Must provide resume, references and work history.

  • Hours of operation:
    Monday - Friday 9am -- 6:00 pm
  • 40-hour work week (No nights or weekends)
