Oregon Allergy Associates is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is experienced, fast‑paced, driven, and highly team‑oriented. Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. - Competitive pay: $21-$25/hour, depending on experience.

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting providers and ensuring seamless patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing charts, including PDMP reports and necessary consents.
- Assisting with patient discharge and providing after‑visit summaries.
- Cleaning and restocking exam rooms to ensure readiness.
- Performs various procedures such as EKGs, injections, vaccines, and ear irrigations with precision.
- Completes controlled medication tasks following strict protocols.
- Provides training to new Medical Assistants and contributes to special projects.
- Handles complex phone calls requiring skilled communication and decision‑making.
- Flexibility and teamwork are essential for taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support Praxis Health’s commitment to patient care.
- Room patients, obtain vitals, medical history, and allergy/asthma updates.
- Accurately document in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Manage clinical tasks including prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription support.
- Contribute to daily team flow, supporting both patients and fellow staff.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.
- Reliable and consistent attendance.
- High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited vocational institution or a community college program preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or CNA.
- Ability to multi‑task and provide support to multiple providers.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
- BLS certification (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Work Environment:

- Works closely with providers and care team to ensure efficient patient flow and positive patient experiences.
