One of Sapphire's newest communities, McKenzie Manor, formerly South Towne was acquired in November 2022. This community is 100% memory care and is comprised of 47 total units. Recently we have repainted the entire interior and rolled out a brand new furniture package. The grounds have had many improvements as well including renovations to the entry way. Sapphire provides ongoing training, tuition reimbursement, competitive wages and generous incentives to all employees.

Working out of our Community Based Care facility, the Med Tech is responsible for administering medications to our residents in our Memory Care Community accordance with the established policies and procedures as directed by the supervisor. Sapphire will provide the training and resources to keep our employees engaged and maintain top quality care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services
  • Administer medications as ordered and in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policies and procedures
  • Seek licensed staff assistance as needed
  • As a Med Tech you will follow the plan of care and chart all appropriate documentation
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Communicate both orally and written with staff, residents, family members, etc.
  • Fosters a supportive, compassionate environment for our residents and their families
  • Other duties as assigned
