Department Summary: The University of Oregon Intercollegiate Athletic Department's primary purpose is to provide a unique opportunity for student-athletes to be developed, tested, and encouraged to reach their maximum potential in every aspect of their lives. The department has approximately 290 administrative & classified employees and hosts over 600,000 spectators annually and represents the University of Oregon in athletic competition with other universities & colleges.
Position Summary: The Custodian performs a wide variety of routine custodial and labor tasks in any of the following athletic facilities:
Autzen Stadium complex, Jane Sanders Field, PK Park, and PAPE Field.
Responsibilities include maintaining floors, cleaning offices, cleaning the exterior of buildings, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning overhead pipes and lights, and washing windows and doors. The schedule is flexible and changes based on the needs of operations activities and events.
This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics programs, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the university, Big Ten Conference and the NCAA.
