• Oversee property grounds, public areas, and hotel guest rooms
• Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
• Paint, replace electrical accessories, and maintain HVAC systems
• Inspect fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
• Respond to maintenance orders promptly and fulfill work orders in a timely manner
• Complete daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
• Perform various other duties as assigned

• Minimum of two (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
• Preferred but not required: one (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or technical disciplines
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry

• Basic math skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Excellent time management skills

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move to reach, clean, and service machinery
• Visual inspection of machines
  
  Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Work may involve phone interview, manager interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment
