Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee a full portfolio of projects for a single customer, spanning multiple states, scopes, and timelines. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the customer and the secondary relationship owner in support of the assigned Sales Representative. The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating communication across internal departments and external subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities Program & Project Execution
  • Independently manage and execute single-item and small-order service requests for the customer.
  • Oversee project intake and execution across multiple scopes and timelines, ensuring milestones are met consistently.
  • Manage project change control, including change orders, revisions, and scope adjustments, while balancing customer expectations, cost, and schedule.
  • Demonstrate master-level expertise in all pre-installation milestones, including:
    • Project intake and code research
    • Quote entry and proposal creation
    • Art requests and art quality checks
    • Contract review and submittal execution
    • Work order submission and engineering requests
  • Master permitting requirements and proactively manage permit acquisition across jurisdictions while mitigating any approval risks.
Technical Review & Quality Assurance
  • Qualify and resolve inconsistencies between quoted materials, designs, engineering documents, and shop drawings.
  • Ensure accuracy and alignment across all project documentation prior to installation.
Value Engineering & Customer Advocacy
  • Identify and recommend value engineering opportunities that benefit the customer while maintaining project integrity.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable advisor to the customer throughout the project and program lifecycle.
Cross-Functional & External Coordination
  • Coordinate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Act as a central communication point to drive accountability and resolve issues proactively.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in program or project management within a multi-project, customer-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with production, design, estimating, planning, accounting, and operations, with a deep understanding of each department’s role, requirements, and limitations to accurately represent internal capabilities and commitments to the customer.
  • Strong understanding of pre-installation and permitting processes, with the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating with external partners, subcontractors, and customer-side vendors in a professional and accountable manner.
  • Ability to independently prioritize, execute, and adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing project environment.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
  • Collaborative & Team-Oriented Mindset
    • Demonstrate a truly collaborative approach that values and respects the contributions of all internal departments, not just the immediate project team.
    • Build strong working relationships across production, design, estimating, planning, accounting, and management to drive aligned outcomes.
    • Approaches challenges with a “shared success” mindset, proactively seeking solutions that support both team and organizational goals.
  • Professional Communication & Relationship Management
    • Communicates thoughtfully, clearly, and responsibly with customers, external partners, subcontractors, and customer-side vendors.
    • Maintains professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations, addressing issues with diplomacy and accountability.
    • Represents the company with integrity and consistency in all external interactions.
  • Proactive & Customer-Focused Execution
    • Highly proactive self-starter who anticipates needs, identifies risks, and takes initiative to address challenges before they escalated.
    • Willing and able to go above and beyond to support the customer while balancing internal capabilities, timelines, and constraints.
    • Thrives in fluctuating project environments and adapts quickly to shifting priorities without sacrificing quality or service.
  • Leadership Presence & Accountability
    • Demonstrates strong ownership of outcomes and follows through on commitments.
    • Exercises sound judgment and discretion when navigating complex decisions involving cost, schedule, and stakeholder expectations.
    • Serves as a steady, reliable point of leadership for both internal teams and external partners.
