Sales Manager

Kiefer Mazda is hiring a driven, experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales floor, develop talent, and drive performance across new and used vehicle operations. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on accountability, process, and building a high-performing team culture.

We’re looking for a hands-on operator who can desk deals, coach effectively, and consistently push the store toward volume, gross, and customer experience goals.

Kiefer Mazda currently operates at a high level selling north of 150 units a month. Previous Sales manager got promoted to be a general manager at another store after just 1 year in the seat.

• Lead daily sales operations for new and used vehicle departments
• Desk deals and support the team in structuring profitable transactions
• Recruit, train, and develop sales consultants and floor managers
• Drive performance in volume, gross, and CSI
• Monitor and manage inventory strategy, pricing, and merchandising
• Ensure strong CRM execution and follow-up discipline
• Partner with BDC, service, and F&I to improve conversion and retention
• Handle escalated customer situations with professionalism and urgency
• Track and report KPIs to executive leadership

• Proven success in automotive sales leadership (Sales Manager, Desk Manager, Finance Manager, or top-performing Floor Manager)
• Strong desking and deal-structure experience
• Leadership mindset with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
• Experience with CRM platforms (Vin Solutions preferred)
• Excellent communication and customer resolution skills
• Mazda or import brand experience is a plus
