Position Summary

The Install Project Manager (IPM) leads the on‑site execution of retail installation projects across the U.S., managing subcontractors, timelines, budgets and quality standards. The role ensures each project is completed according to plan by coordinating logistics, monitoring progress and proactively resolving issues. Strong communication with clients and internal teams is key to keeping projects on track and delivering exceptional results.

This position requires heavy travel. IPMs spend approximately 90% of their time traveling out of their home area. The IPM supervises the completion of projects across the United States by overseeing subcontractors to assure that their work is performed satisfactorily and on time, completes required project reports and actively communicates project status to both clients and internal project managers at our corporate headquarters in Eugene, Oregon.

Frequent night and weekend work is required, and travel can be up to two weeks at a time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Receive schedule for installation and notify sub‑contracted partners.
  • Monitor progress as required by phasing of installation.
  • Upload photos of site to the installation department.
  • Ensure on‑site compliance with installation drawings and details.
  • Assist with quality control of installation in retail stores.
  • Provide completion photos and checklists.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Manage subcontractors.
  • Manage and control travel expenses through an online software program.
  • Assure site readiness availability for upcoming projects.
  • Monitor performance of crew members by being on site (day or night shift).
  • Communicate with account and install managers.
Requirements Education & Experience
  • HS Diploma or equivalent; AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two to four years of related retail construction, field and management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
