Senior Living General Manager​/Executive Director

Are you passionate about working with seniors? We are looking for a General Manager to support residents at Merrill Gardens at Sheldon Park, a community that values individualism and dignity.

• Ensure financial performance by creating, managing, and abiding by the approved budget.
• Maintain accounting compliance, overseeing community financial records including rent receipts, petty cash disbursements, miscellaneous income and expenditures, and payroll.
• Maintain HR compliance by overseeing personnel records of all employees, ensuring proper documentation for new hires, ongoing training, performance evaluations, merit increases, and performance management.
• Provide the Seattle office with all necessary reports on time and in the proper format.
• Implement and enforce all policies and procedures of the Operations Manual, Food Services Manual, Team Member Handbook, and State Licensing Regulations.
• Lead in creating and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction in facilities, food service, activities, housekeeping, staff interactions, and resident care, and manage the community to a minimum 94% occupancy rate.
• Monitor marketing processes, ensuring minimum standards are met weekly.
• Monitor marketing software with the Community Relations Director and Director of Sales to ensure marketing activities achieve budgeted occupancy goals.
• Monitor and report competitor activities to management.
• Maintain accountability for the overall functionality of the community.
• Interact regularly with residents and attend resident functions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, etc.
• 21 years of age with a college degree (Preferred).
• Must have 3‑5 years of management experience.
