This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about safety, environmental compliance, and quality standards, and who thrives in a hands‑on industrial environment. You will play a key role in ensuring facility‑wide compliance, driving continuous improvement, and serving as a trusted resource for both leadership and plant employees.
What You Will Do:- Conduct EHS and Quality inspections throughout the facility
- Perform EHS and Quality audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Deliver EHS and Quality training to employees and supervisors
- Prepare and submit EHS related permit applications
- Implement EHS and Quality policies, programs, and procedures
- Conduct accident and incident investigations as needed
- Provide guidance to plant supervisors and employees regarding safety and environmental matters
- Maintain accurate and timely EHS reporting and recordkeeping
- Occasionally travel to EHS training events
- Support additional plant operational duties as needed
- Participate in the company safety program
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Safety Science required
- One or more years of EHS consulting experience or facility‑based EHS management in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience implementing quality programs
- Solid problem‑solving abilities
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable with public speaking and delivering training
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Flexibility and strong multitasking skills
Physical Surroundings: Office setting with frequent time spent in production operations

Conditions:
Noise from operating equipment, varying temperatures outdoors year round, dust and dirt in the yard, exposure to equipment hazards, and contact with hazardous materials that require PPE
Physical Effort: Limited physical effort required
Hours: May require 40+ hours per week to support 24/7 plant operations
