Overview
Quality, efficiency, and safety all play a big role in our work ufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for the Supply Chain team. We are currently looking to hire a Manager, Technical Services Packaging based near any of our plant locations.

, you will support the deployment of technical best practices for End of Line packaging systems across our manufacturing sites. Your focus will be on equipment reliability, team capability, and driving improvements in final packaging operations. This role is key to achieving productivity and quality targets while fostering a culture of problem-solving and learning.
- Support End of Line Optimization: Assist in implementing technical optimization strategies for End of Line packaging systems (e.g., palletizing, case packing, stretch wrapping, and final inspection) at your assigned site. Work closely with your team to build capability, follow established standards, and resolve recurring technical issues.
- Incident Response: Execute contingency plans for equipment failures and supply disruptions in End of Line operations to minimize risks and maintain production continuity.
- Collaboration: Partner with Engineering and Innovation teams on new End of Line equipment installations and packaging changes to ensure smooth integration with current systems.
- Operational Execution: Use digital tools and analytics (e.g., IoT, predictive maintenance) to monitor End of Line equipment performance, support maintenance planning, and drive continuous improvement.
- Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical support for End of Line packaging equipment, troubleshooting issues that impact performance and throughput.
- Material Alignment: Ensure packaging materials used in End of Line operations meet equipment and performance standards, escalating issues as needed.
- Training: Deliver and reinforce training programs for End of Line equipment, working with HR and L&D to strengthen frontline technical skills.
- Best Practice Sharing: Participate in site-level best practice sharing for End of Line operations to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Workshops: Lead or support technical workshops and forums focused on End of Line packaging to encourage continuous learning and innovation.
- Supplier Relationships: Support the management of relationships with End of Line equipment suppliers and service providers to ensure reliable support and access to new solutions.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with other functions (Engineering, HR, Plant Teams, etc.) to deliver operational and learning objectives for End of Line packaging.
Experience and Education Requirements
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Packaging Science, Industrial Technology, or a related field is strongly preferred. Equivalent technical experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, or technical services within a food, beverage, or CPG environment, with a focus on End of Line operations (e.g., palletizing, case packing, stretch wrapping). Demonstrated experience leading or supervising technical teams in a manufacturing setting. Hands-on experience with packaging equipment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Required Skills
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of End of Line packaging systems, equipment, and processes. Familiarity with predictive and preventive maintenance strategies. Knowledge of packaging materials, specifications, and quality standards.
- Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate technical teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues. Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, etc.).
- Project & Resource Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources efficiently. Experience with inventory and cost management is a plus.
- Quality & Safety: Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance in food or CPG manufacturing. Knowledge of quality control systems and continuous improvement methodologies.

Skills:
Proficiency with digital tools for equipment monitoring, data analysis, and reporting (e.g., IoT, CMMS, Excel).
