Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Press Brake Operator role in Eugene, OR. Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC press brake machines to bend and form metal parts according to specifications.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and bend diagrams to ensure accurate production.

  • Select, install, and align appropriate tooling (punches and dies) for each job.

  • Perform quality inspections to verify dimensions, angles, and tolerances of finished parts.

  • Make machine adjustments and offsets to maintain accuracy and consistency.

  • Load and unload materials safely, using overhead cranes or material handling equipment as needed.

  • Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of press brake equipment.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety policies.

  • Accurately document production data, setup details, and completed work orders.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

  • Promptly report equipment issues, material defects, or safety concerns.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.

  • Prior experience operating CNC press brake equipment preferred.

  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, protractors).

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.

  • Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills for machine operation.

  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to work varying shifts and overtime as required.

  • Experience with metal fabrication and tooling setups is a plus, but training may be provided.
