Position: Operator 1, Manufacturing

Operator 1, Manufacturing

Join our dynamic assembly team as an Operator 1 in Manufacturing. You will play a crucial role in operating processing and packaging equipment to ensure the production of high-quality products. This position involves weighing, measuring, and checking raw materials, as well as performing in-process sampling and testing to meet specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Operate processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, and filtration systems.
  • Weigh, measure, and check raw materials using a computer interface to ensure batches contain the proper materials and quantities.
  • Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform in-process sampling and testing to assure batches meet specifications.
  • Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures.
  • Follow all safe practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Complete and maintain Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and SOPs.
  • Maintain equipment and lab room to ensure proper operating conditions and cleanliness.
  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • May perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in assembly, packaging, and manufacturing.
  • Ability to operate processing and packaging equipment, including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, and filtration systems.
  • Proficient in weighing, measuring, and checking raw materials with computer assistance.
  • Capability to calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of company safety regulations and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in general labor and production.
  • Familiarity with maintaining Quality Records in compliance with regulatory requirements, GMPs, and SOPs.

Pay and Benefits
