We are currently hiring for multiple production roles across various departments and shifts throughout the mill. These positions offer opportunities to work in a variety of areas within our hardwood plywood manufacturing process, including:
- Putty
- Dryer
- Spreader
- Cleanup
- Banding
- Press
- Sander
- Warehouse
- Prefinish
- Have good manual dexterity
- Possess basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Can lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Are able to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations at all times
- Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when required
- Learn and perform a variety of positions across the production process
- Read and interpret putty color charts, material grades, production lists, and load tickets
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area (housekeeping)
- Support and participate in 5S and Kaizen continuous improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively to achieve Safety, Production, and Quality goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Utilize basic computer skills as needed for job functions
