You'll collaborate with team members in a dynamic environment to ensure precise welding, fabrication, and assembly of complex metal components, helping drive success on major projects in Eugene. What You'll Do As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be responsible for:
Performing MIG welding on steel components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions. Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to ensure accurate fabrication. Fitting, aligning, and preparing parts and materials for welding and assembly. Operating shop equipment such as grinders, torches, and cutting tools with safety and precision. Inspecting welds for quality, strength, and adherence to specifications. Monitoring welding processes to prevent defects and maintain consistency.
Assisting with material handling using overhead cranes or forklifts. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following all safety protocols and standards. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: 2+ years of MIG welding experience, particularly on steel. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications. Experience working with large, heavy metal components.
Familiarity with fabrication tools and shop equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout your shift. Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Why Join Us in Eugene?
