Northwest Hardwoods provides competitive wages starting at $22.53 (plus $1 shift differential). Shift schedule is M‑Th 1:30pm – 12:00am, with scheduled OT. General Responsibilities- Work safely – know, understand, and follow NWH safety rules
- Ability to safely perform Lockout Tagout within the first 90 days
- Must be self‑directed and able to follow a list of tasks to completion with minimal supervision
- Utilize hand tools and wheelbarrows to clean up sawmill debris
- Maintain a clean working environment on the production floor
- Make fast decisions utilizing hand‑eye coordination
- Cross‑train in other positions; teamwork is essential
- Safety conscious with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Excellent attendance
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work at a fast pace and be detail‑oriented
- Pre‑employment drug and background check required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Will always wear required personal protective equipment
