As a Welder Fabricator, you'll play a vital role in producing custom steel components by performing MIG welding, structural fabrication, and precise metal cutting. What You'll Do As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for:
Performing MIG welding using.
045 wire to create strong, reliable joints Fabricating structural steel components according to specifications Cutting metal parts with shears and plasma cutters for accurate dimensions Operating torches and plasma cutters to shape metals precisely Assembling and welding full-size catch basins and grates per project needs Adhering to safety standards and maintaining a clean workspace Utilizing personal tools including welding hoods and safety gear Learning new fabrication techniques through on-the-job training to grow your skill set

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
At least 2 years of welding and fabrication experience, particularly in MIG welding Experience working with structural steel components Strong measurement, blueprint-reading, and fabrication skills Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform bending, stooping, and twisting tasks A reliable work ethic with a strong willingness to learn and develop new fabrication skills
