Join a reputable timber mill as a Pre Glue Line Mill Operator in Eugene, Oregon, and be a vital part of a team dedicated to producing high-quality Doug Fir dimensional lumber. As a Pre Glue Line Mill Operator, you'll play an active role in the processing of lumber, ensuring efficiency and safety at every step.

Work closely with your team to maintain a well-organized, safe environment while contributing to the smooth operation of the mill. What You'll Do As a Pre Glue Line, you will be responsible for:

• Handling long lengths of lumber with care and safety.
• Understanding and following Glue Report procedures meticulously.
• Learning clamp pressure adjustments.
• Managing Lay-up and Lock-up processes accurately.
• Setting camber jigs to ensure proper specifications.
• Immediately notifying supervisors of any quality concerns.
• Staying alert and attentive throughout your shift.
• Using a 35 lbs. air gun and other hand tools as needed.
• Following Lock-out/Tag-out safety procedures at all times.

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs — physically demanding work requires good body conditioning.
• Knowledge of Lam Beam Lay-ups fundamentals.
• Clear and effective communication skills to work well with team members and supervisors.
• Willingness to work overtime and fill in on off-shifts when necessary.
• A strong safety mindset and commitment to a safety-first culture.
