ASAP Looking for a physically active, rewarding career opportunity? Join a well-established, 100% Doug Fir Lumber Mill in Eugene as a Mill Breakout Worker and make an impact every day. As a Mill Breakout Worker, you'll play a key role in handling long lengths of lumber and ensuring quality standards are met. You'll work closely with your team to follow safety procedures, operate tools, and contribute to the mill's commitment to top-quality products and environmental sustainability.

What You'll Do As a Mill Breakout Worker, you will be responsible for:
Handling long lengths of lumber with care and precision Following Glue Report procedures meticulously Learning and adjusting clamp pressure, lay-up, and lock-up processes Setting camber jigs accurately Immediately reporting any quality issues to your supervisor Maintaining constant alertness to ensure safety Operating a 35 lbs. air gun and using hand tools as needed Applying all Lock-out/Tag-out safety procedures What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. comfortably Experience or understanding of Lam Beam Lay-ups Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with co-workers and supervisors A team-oriented mindset that promotes collaboration A proactive approach to safety and a strong safety culture Willingness to fill in on off-shift and overtime when required Why Join Us in Eugene?
