Framer 2
Primary function is to manufacture round stock product to established specification in a productive, efficient and safe manner. Principal responsibilities include: inspecting and verifying quality and classification of all round stock to ANSI, ASTM or corporate standards; operating hand and framing tools to cut, drill, gain, brand, tag, clean and prepare poles for treatment; documenting and reporting material processed; maintaining tools, equipment, supplies and work area;
assisting in inspection of all round stock products; assisting in receipt of materials, tallying, identification, records and information; assisting in operation of full length and deep incisor as required; operating pole tag machine to manufacture aluminum tags as required; participating and contributing to company safety program; and performing other duties as assigned. During a 90-day probationary period a Framer 2 will be classified as a Framer 3 during their training phase until proficient.
