Join a highly respected local metal fabrication company as a CNC Laser Operator in Eugene, Oregon, and sharpen your skills while contributing to precision metalwork projects in a dynamic setting. As a CNC Laser Operator, you'll be essential in supporting production efficiency and quality.

You'll work closely with our production team to operate, maintain, and fine-tune CNC laser cutting equipment, ensuring parts meet strict specifications and standards.

What You'll Do As a CNC Laser Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up, loading, and adjusting CNC plasma and oxy-fuel burning machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Operating laser cutting machines to produce accurately shaped metal parts with tight tolerances.
• Selecting cutting parameters, materials, and speeds based on job specifications to maximize productivity and quality.
• Making real-time machine adjustments and program modifications to improve process consistency and output quality.
• Communicating with the CNC Programmer to provide feedback and suggest process improvements.
• Marking finished products with relevant job order and routing information for proper tracking.
• Handling materials manually or with overhead cranes and forklifts, following safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with all shop protocols.

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• At least three months of CNC operation or burning experience (preferred but not required).
• Strong skills in reading shop drawings, measurements, and performing basic math calculations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and load/unload materials onto cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with overhead cranes, forklifts, and shop machinery.
• A reliable, detail-oriented attitude and excellent work ethic.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures consistently.
