Industrial Painter Pay: $23.00 - $28.00/hour, DOE

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM

As an Industrial Painter, you'll be responsible for surface preparations, applying top-quality coatings, maintaining equipment, and conducting inspections to ensure our industrial products meet strict standards.

What You'll Do As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating spray guns and other painting equipment to apply coatings to heavy industrial metal parts and equipment.
  • Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and grinding to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
  • Mixing and matching paints using proper ratios and automated mixing systems to achieve the desired color and finish.
  • Applying primers and top coats with attention to detail, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Inspecting finished products to verify compliance with specifications and safety standards.
  • Labeling materials accurately and maintaining detailed production documentation.
  • Cleaning and maintaining spray guns, booths, and other painting equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Following production schedules to complete daily painting assignments efficiently.
  • Using appropriate protective gear when working with fumes and hazardous materials.
  • Operating forklifts and overhead cranes as necessary to move heavy equipment safely.
  • Attending safety meetings and adhering strictly to company safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Prior experience in Auto Body Painting or Industrial Painting.
  • 0–1 year of industrial or manufacturing experience.
  • Confidence in operating spray equipment, mixing systems, and paint booths.
  • Experience working at heights using ladders and lifts.
  • Forklift and overhead crane certification or experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret tape measures, technical drawings, and bills of material.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with fumes, noise, and temperature variations.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
