Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, organized, and creative Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing efforts across multiple companies. This role is ideal for someone who can balance strategy with execution, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborate closely with Sales, HR, Payroll, and external vendors.
This position requires someone who actively creates and develops marketing materials and advertising content, not outsources creative work. While outside vendors such as photographers or videographers may be used when appropriate, this role is responsible for leading content development from concept through final production.
Experience in the wood products or manufacturing industry is a plus. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable in industrial environments, and confident managing projects from concept through final approval.
Core Responsibilities Marketing & Content- Create and distribute newsletters according to the Marketing Calendar.
- Develop and schedule social media posts.
- Develop content for digital and print advertising campaigns, including concept creation, copywriting, design, and production coordination.
- Stay informed on current projects and capture photos and videos of materials and processes, including Lam Plant activities such as beams being glued and finish room activity, as well as sawmill operations such as special lengths or sizes being cut.
- Ensure all marketing materials meet quality standards and brand guidelines before submitting for final approval.
- Coordinate and manage photographers and videographers, including on-site oversight.
- Manage trade show participation, including booth design, equipment rentals, carpet, electrical, and logistical coordination.
- Oversee special projects such as holiday cards, promotional campaigns, holiday celebrations, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
- Become familiar with both companies and individual salespeople to create effective sales tools and marketing materials.
- Provide assistance with managing marketing and sales processing goals, helping align marketing initiatives with revenue and growth targets.
- Bring ideas to the table and ask clarifying questions to improve marketing efforts.
- Manage weekly marketing meetings by creating agendas, leading discussions, and updating and maintaining the Marketing Calendar.
- Work with HR and Payroll to keep website content current, including updates for new hires, terminations, contact information changes, and job listings with appropriate links.
- Assist with swag programs for customers and employees, including design concepts, ordering, inventory tracking, and coordination with HR and Payroll.

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is required.
- 3–5+ years of professional marketing experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or B2B environments.
- Experience managing multiple brands or business units, as this role supports multiple companies.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects from concept to completion.
- Demonstrated experience developing digital and print advertising campaigns in-house.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or other media creation platforms.
- Ability to independently create marketing materials is required.
- Ability to manage, review, and approve vendor output when outside resources are used.
- Experience developing digital and print advertising content, including ads, flyers, brochures, sales sheets, and campaign graphics.
- Social media management experience, including Facebook and Linked In.
- Website management experience.
- Project management experience, including coordinating photographers, videographers, and vendors.
- Ability to accompany vendors on-site and oversee content creation.
- Wood products or manufacturing industry experience is preferred but not required.
